Failure to implement or manage these measures may result in guidance, correction, or penalties under the Industrial Safety and Health Act. The measures apply to work conducted in environments where the "heat index" is 28 or higher, or where the temperature is 31 degrees Celsius or higher, for continuous periods of one hour or more, or four hours or more in a day.
