[Important] From June 2025, measures against heat stroke will be mandatory. We propose the use of a simple-to-assemble airlock room for improving workplace environment and preventing heat stroke. It also contributes to energy conservation.

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare will strengthen the obligation for heatstroke measures with penalties starting from June 2025, in response to the increasing trend of heatstroke incidents in the workplace. Failure to implement or manage these measures may result in guidance, correction, or penalties under the Industrial Safety and Health Act.
One effective measure against heatstroke is the installation of a windbreak room (Protect Eco Room).
■ Effects and Benefits
1. Blocks the intrusion of hot air from outside, improving air conditioning efficiency.
2. Enhances the cooling effect of break rooms and waiting areas by retaining cool air in air-conditioned spaces.
3. Can also be utilized as a temporary cooling space for emergency treatment.
4. By installing a windbreak room that partitions the space, air conditioning efficiency is increased, enabling heat and heatstroke measures while contributing to energy savings.
5. Maintaining a comfortable working environment is expected to improve work efficiency and productivity, and reduce mistakes.
6. By ensuring the health and safety of employees, a decrease and improvement in turnover rates is anticipated.
■ The Protect Eco Room is recommended for the following locations:
Break rooms
Entrances and exits of warehouses and logistics centers
Loading and unloading areas of manufacturing plants
Temporary waiting areas in production sites, etc.
