In 1963, our company started with a single general-purpose lathe and has grown into a small town factory that can be found anywhere. In the world of metal processing, production methods have advanced, and it has become widely believed that high-quality products can be easily made at low prices with machines, tools, and software. We, as a small factory that has honed our skills through time and effort, are constantly compelled to reassess our value as a company. We want to find great value in the act of creating things by hand. No matter how much production methods evolve or how excellent software becomes, we believe that the value of craftsmen who understand the properties of metal, choose the optimal processing methods, prepare and manipulate tools, and finish the work will never be lost. While we learn cutting-edge technology, we will always pursue the inheritance and training of traditional skills, firmly basing our work on handmade principles and faithfully passing down the tradition and pride of our town factory craftsmen. Our new business, "Iwashimizu Workshop," will dramatically improve the water environment in homes and factories through the development and sale of high-performance special ceramic application products.
