This is a memory-type turbidity meter equipped with two turbidity sensors for medium and high concentration measurements, allowing for accurate measurements across a wide range from normal to high concentration levels. It also comes standard with water temperature and depth sensors, enabling it to meet various measurement needs. Additionally, the optical sensor section is equipped with a wiper to remove dirt, allowing for long-term continuous observation. As part of comprehensive sediment management, it is possible to conduct sediment dynamics monitoring using the turbidity meter.

The light source for the chlorophyll and turbidity sensors uses highly stable light-emitting diodes, resulting in very little change over time! In particular, the turbidity sensor has good stability in low concentration ranges and a high correlation with suspended solids (SS) even at high concentration ranges, making it suitable not only for marine areas but also for surveys in dams and rivers.

The COMPACT-DOW, miniaturized by JFE Advantech's technology, integrates a data logger that can record data for three channels: dissolved oxygen saturation (DO), water temperature, and battery voltage, up to 179 and 178 data points.
