Natural rubber latex, one of the raw materials for water-based adhesives, is made from the sap of rubber trees. Natural rubber latex absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere and is an organic resource that is produced by soaking up plenty of solar energy. Even when burned, it does not increase CO2, which is a major cause of global warming. Furthermore, as an organic resource, natural rubber latex can continue to be utilized by planting trees to offset its use.
