Flow is a leading company in the development and manufacturing of ultra-high-pressure water jets and a top provider of robotics and assembly equipment. In the early 1970s, the predecessor in charge of research and development became independent from Boeing and founded Flow Research. This marked the beginning of Flow. The ultra-high-pressure water jet, used as industrial cutting equipment, was our first product. Later, Flow invested in and patented the technology, successfully developing the world's first abrasive water jet capable of cutting hard materials up to 30.5 cm (12 in.) thick.
