The Karen series is a liquefied low molecular weight butyl rubber that is not available from other companies. It imparts the properties of butyl rubber to various coatings, sealants, and adhesive applications. By using Karen in the coating agent for the rigid polyurethane foam of the tank's insulation layer, it prevents hydrolysis of the polyurethane foam and extends the lifespan of the insulation layer. The "KALAR Series" is a butyl rubber compound that has been partially cross-linked. It easily dissolves in a wide range of solvents, allowing for the simple addition of various sealants and adhesives with chemical resistance, moisture and gas impermeability, electrical properties, and aging resistance, all characteristics of butyl rubber. Furthermore, it eliminates the need for pre-mixing of butyl rubber and does not require cross-linking. We can supply SBR latex with a high solid content of 69-71%. SBR latex in the Asian market has a solid content of less than 50%. Flexible tanks (inner bags for liquid transport) can be used in a 20' dry container, enabling bulk transport and achieving cost reduction.
