"Celtes TC" is a technology that forms a coating with a ta-C structure achieving a hardness of 50 GPa. It can be processed at low temperatures below 180°C, allowing for treatment that minimizes thermal impact on steel materials. It also exhibits excellent adhesion to stainless steel in addition to tool steel. Compared to the a-C:H based coating "Celtes DCY," it achieves approximately twice the hardness and superior wear resistance. The "Sertes T Multi-layer Coating" is a coating process with high adhesion even at low temperatures. The PBS (Plasma Booster Sputtering) process enables low-temperature treatment below 250°C. The Celtes DLC is a next-generation composite multilayer DLC coating produced by a hybrid process of Plasma Booster Sputtering (PBS) and Plasma CVD. By adopting a new plasma source, it can be deposited at lower temperatures (below 180°C) than before, significantly improving the durability of molds and parts compared to conventional DLC. With a high adhesion 3-5 micron DLC coating, it can also be applied to tool steel molds and SUJ/SCM steel parts that have previously been unsuitable due to insufficient adhesion at high surface pressures. 【Features】 - In the Fabry (Falex) seizure test, it achieved a seizure load limit of up to 2000 kgf under non-lubricated conditions and over 2500 kgf under lubricated conditions. - Compared to other companies' composite multilayer DLCs, the damage to the coating after the Fabry test is minimal, and it does not peel off even when the base material becomes red-hot and undergoes plastic flow. *For more details, please request documentation or view the PDF data available for download.

The features of the new model include a compact and highly flexible measurement head, measurement control and data collection via WINDOWS XP, and surface analysis using an XY table (optional). While surface potential measurements alone are not very sensitive to changes in the very top layer of the surface, by applying charge through corona discharge and measuring the surface potential before and after, it is possible to sensitively measure surface cleanliness in relation to the exposure of newly formed metal surfaces, the growth of oxide layers, contamination layers, and adsorption layers.

The Celtes coating for plastic molding dies is a hard thin film of 2 to 8 μm produced by an advanced Plasma Booster Sputtering (PBS) process. It reduces abrasive wear caused by hard additives such as glass fibers in injection molding, while also preventing roughness of the steel substrate due to gas burning and corrosion. By selecting a film type suitable for the plastic material, it improves release properties, reduces the frequency of mold maintenance, and significantly enhances productivity. The Celtes coating for rubber molding molds reduces mold contamination in rubber molding and dramatically decreases the frequency of mold maintenance. Additionally, the surface hardness of the mold is increased, and corrosion resistance is improved, making it less susceptible to damage from blasting or alkaline cleaning, thus enhancing durability. The Certex coating for glass lens and mold manufacturing showed low friction coefficients in friction and wear tests at 500°C in the atmosphere with BK7 balls, and observations of wear marks indicated minimal adhesion of BK7 glass. In glass lens molding, heat resistance and release properties from molten glass are required. Certex SD (TiBN-based) exhibits high adhesion and wear resistance at high temperatures and excellent release properties from molten glass. The Celtes X coating for semiconductor mold dies is a low-temperature PVD coating using advanced vacuum plasma technology. The chromium nitride coating (CrxNy) with a thickness of 2 to 5 μm, deposited by the PBS (Plasma Booster Sputtering) process, has a Vickers hardness of over 1800 and demonstrates excellent wear resistance against abrasive wear from silica particles. Additionally, it can withstand high surface pressures due to the use of a substrate reinforcement layer, not only on cemented carbide but also on tool steel. The DLC coating has a very smooth and hard surface with a low friction coefficient, preventing adhesion of soft metals such as solder plating and aluminum.
