We would like to introduce a case study on the introduction of a "nickel-hydride battery charger." A customer, who had been sourcing and selling nickel-hydride batteries, faced a supply halt and struggled with the required performance, costs, and minimum order quantities (MOQ) for purchases. They reached out to us to inquire about the feasibility of providing equivalent products. We would like to introduce a case where we implemented a "DCDC converter AC adapter" equipped with a cleaner. The customer was struggling with the MOQ, and we proposed a solution that included a set proposal for the DCDC converter and AC adapter, allowing for manufacturing with a lower MOQ. Utilizing our overseas network from design to manufacturing, we were able to meet the customer's desired MOQ by adopting local manufacturer parts. We proposed a set of a DC-DC converter and an AC adapter, utilizing local manufacturers to accommodate small lot production. The second case is about an alternative product for a discontinued nickel-metal hydride battery charger. We collaborated with a specialized manufacturer in China to adjust the firmware and adopt dedicated ICs, meeting performance, cost, and MOQ requirements. The third case involved a request for performance improvement on an existing automotive DC-DC converter. By reviewing all processes from design to procurement and production, we achieved high quality while keeping costs down.
