This product is an air leak tester for battery cases of electric vehicles (EVs). The battery case features a structure that is "large with a significant internal volume, and deformation is expected due to internal pressurization." As a result, air leak testing generates noise caused by "the large size and volume" and "expansion or deformation due to internal pressurization." This product is characterized by the use of newly developed smoothing and linear fitting correction functions to reduce this noise during measurement. Additionally, to achieve precise low-pressure control and flow expansion for large volumes, we provide a bypass box (CBU-600) equipped with a pressure regulator that allows for accurate pressure control and a pressure valve with a large effective diameter to supply high flow rates.

Separate type air leak tester "LPU-300 series" "LPU-100/024 series"

The air pressure unit and measurement sensors can be bundled together, while control and display options are available separately. The "LPU-300 series" is the smallest measurement unit in Fukuda's history, making it ideal for direct attachment to as small a workpiece as possible. It can achieve higher measurement sensitivity compared to conventional all-in-one leak testers (depending on measurement conditions). The "LPU-100 / LPU-024 series" is used as a separate air leak tester in combination with display units (MI-170 / MIZ-0175 / DG-960). A high-sensitivity leak testing machine that uses hydrogen gas. It features improved convenience and operability, and is a compact detector equipped only with the necessary functions.

It is used to measure the overall leakage from the entire inspected item (work). - The work is covered with a chamber, tracer gas is filled inside the work, the leaked gas accumulates in the chamber, the leaked gas is stirred and forced to circulate, and the gas concentration is measured using a hydrogen detector [Atmospheric Pressure Chamber Method]. - After creating a vacuum in the chamber, atmospheric air is introduced into the chamber, and gas is directed to the hydrogen detector, allowing for highly sensitive measurements [Vacuum Chamber Method]. There are two methods. The design is compact and lightweight, making it easy to integrate into equipment.
