About 70% of companies that are expanding overseas or are interested in doing so responded that they want to focus on countermeasures against counterfeit products.

The Japan Distribution Management Support Organization conducted a survey targeting 100 executives and export personnel from cosmetic manufacturers and food export companies (meat and alcohol) that are either expanding overseas or interested in doing so, regarding their awareness of challenges in overseas expansion and measures against counterfeit products.
