We are developing a battery-less multi-purpose sensor that applies the power generation principle of liquid detection sensors, capable of detecting various external forces and physical changes!

We introduce a battery-less multi-purpose sensor using Mg air batteries. ■ Battery-less Sensor This is a groundbreaking device that applies and further evolves the technology of battery-less liquid detection sensors. The core of this sensor consists of a sensor element that starts generating power when it comes into contact with water, a water bag, and a wireless transmitter (BLE or LPWA) integrated into one structure. When external force is applied, the internal water bag bursts, initiating power generation and activating the wireless transmitter. The most significant feature is its battery-less design, which allows for installation in locations where power supply is difficult and can withstand long periods of inactivity, greatly contributing to labor reduction. ■ Design Versatility This unique design allows it to function as a sensor that responds to various external forces such as pressure, tensile force, shear force, and impact force. By customizing the case design, it can accommodate a wide range of applications. ■ Expected Applications The expected applications are diverse: 1. Drone drop detection sensor 2. Revolutionary Mg-air battery method "Liquid Detection Sensor" The Liquid Detection Sensor is based on Mg-air battery technology and generates power when it comes into contact with water or other liquids. It operates without any external power supply for the sensor part, and notably, it can reliably generate power and detect not only water but also urine and blood. ■ Battery-less Eliminating the need for power supply, which was essential for conventional liquid sensors, enables operation without restrictions on installation locations. ■ High sensitivity detection capability Achieving a high-sensitivity design that can reliably detect even a few drops of liquid. It can detect minor liquid leaks and condensation without missing them. ■ Compact and flexible installation With a slim and small design, it can be easily installed in narrow spaces and gaps in equipment where conventional sensors would be difficult to place. It can be utilized in various locations such as around piping, under floors, and in ceilings. ■ Notification system The detected information is implemented to be notified via email to smartphones or computers. Cancer Biomarker Discovery 2026 is an online seminar focused on the latest biomarker discovery and analysis technologies in the field of cancer research. Advanced technologies that support the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment research of cancer, such as liquid biopsy, proteomics, and spatial omics analysis, will be introduced. This seminar primarily targets basic and clinical researchers involved in cancer research, as well as those interested in biomarker discovery and analysis. In our section, we will introduce the latest techniques in fluorescent imaging for spatial biology and spatial proteomics research, centered around the Invitrogen EVOS S1000 Spatial Imaging System.
