●Centralized Management of Cutting Tools and Tooling Information We build an integrated tool library to centrally manage data on cutting tools, tooling, jigs, measuring instruments, etc., which tend to be scattered within the company. This promotes information sharing across departments and allows us to establish a knowledge base not only of catalog information but also of our own know-how. ●Centralized Management of Files Used in Machining Operations In addition to tool information, we manage CAD/CAM data, NC programs, setup instructions, photos, videos, etc., in a one-stop manner for each processing unit. Organize and tidy up files and data related to processing tasks by category. We will centrally manage various types of information such as CAD data, NC programs, other programs, tool lists, procedure manuals, images, videos, etc. This allows for one-stop management of files that are often managed separately by different departments and personnel, eliminating the chaos of file management across multiple departments and reducing human errors caused by a lack of consistency. Additionally, by properly managing files generated daily, we can accumulate information as know-how, which can be utilized in repeated processing and also serve as reference information for similar processing tasks. Furthermore, NC folders categorized by processing tasks can create sub-NC folders, allowing for hierarchical organization of NC folders. For example, by defining the relationships between main programs and sub-programs, we can enhance the depth of management regarding the relationships between processing tasks.

Although I have heard that verification efficiency at the RTL stage improves with verification methodologies using SystemVerilog such as UVM, many designers may not fully understand what can be done with SystemVerilog and how to use it. The RTCA/DO-254 guidance recommends that applicants define and implement HDL coding standards. This work begins with a planning process that includes the definition of the standard, how it will be implemented, and, if the process is automated, the evaluation methods for tools or results. A key issue is that the guidance does not have clearly defined formal standards, leading to questions about how to conduct a detailed review of HDL code. In this webinar, we will demonstrate the use of ALINT-PRO to enforce coding standards and highlight the benefits of streamlining the overall design review to meet the objectives of DO-254.
