We provide products with characteristics tailored to their intended uses by applying various surface treatments to aluminum paste. ■ Silica Coating - Gas Suppression… By applying a silica treatment to the surface of aluminum flakes, we prevent the reaction of aluminum flakes with water, which generates hydrogen gas. - Environmental Consideration… The silica treatment is compatible with water-based paints that have low organic solvent content. ■ Resin Coating - Chemical Resistance… Coating the surface of aluminum flakes with acrylic resin prevents reactions with acids and alkalis. - Adhesion… When untreated aluminum paste is used in plastic coatings or gravure printing, the paint film may peel off.
