Parts Seiko News [March 2025 Issue]

This month, I would like to introduce our "Vietnam Factory," which recently held its opening ceremony.
The Vietnam Factory is our third overseas facility, following the factories in China and the Philippines. Construction was undertaken to further increase our processing capacity, and it was scheduled to start operations in September of last year. However, due to the damage caused by Typhoon No. 11, we had to go through recovery efforts, and we were finally able to hold the opening ceremony in March.
The factory is located in Quang Ninh Province in northern Vietnam (about a two-hour drive from Hanoi), within the Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park, which is an economic zone. Additionally, this province has ranked first in the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) in Vietnam for seven consecutive years, providing a robust business environment with excellent infrastructure and human resources.
As for processing equipment, similar to our other locations, we have introduced Japanese-made processing machines as the main models, along with MC/BNC/general-purpose machines, three-dimensional/two-dimensional measuring instruments, and optical microscopes. We are focusing on creating a system that can produce both square and round products with Japanese quality.
We will continue to make daily improvements to meet our customers' expectations, and we will work together as a company, so we appreciate your support.
