This is a "compact catalytic deodorization device" that removes VOCs (volatile organic compounds) such as toluene, xylene, and ethyl acetate, as well as exhaust gases containing unpleasant odors, by means of oxidative decomposition treatment. The "catalytic deodorization device" is a system that oxidizes combustible substances, VOCs, and odors in exhaust gas by bringing them into contact with air through a catalyst, resulting in odorless and harmless emissions. Since it can initiate oxidation reactions at low temperatures (300°C to 350°C) below the ignition point, it consumes about one-third the fuel for preheating compared to direct combustion deodorization devices. While combustion-type treatment devices are the most effective for VOC treatment, they struggled to find a device that met the condition of not threatening the 1.5m wide workspace between the dryers. Even when devices that could fit in the space were available, they often lacked sufficient processing capacity, leading to ongoing challenges. **[Implementation Effects]** The compact catalytic deodorization device, which is easy to operate with a touch panel, achieved a space-saving design of 120cm in width, 50cm in depth, and 70.5cm in height, while providing a processing capacity of over 3N?/min and a VOC removal efficiency of over 98%.
