"Valuism Conference 2025" scheduled to be held (August 28-29, hybrid format)

August 19, 2025, Kyoto — The Doshisha University Value Research Center will hold the "Valuism Conference 2025" over two days on August 28 (Thursday) and August 29 (Friday) at a venue in Kyoto City and online. The conference is scheduled to take place from 9 AM to 6 PM each day.
This conference will introduce the concept of "Valuism," which spans diverse fields such as business, government, academia, and civil society, and will engage in cutting-edge discussions on sustainability, resilience, and value co-creation with multiple stakeholders.
"Valuism" is a new framework that enables ethical decision-making and real-time value visualization through philosophical insights, advanced technologies (such as AI, blockchain, and big data), and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Through keynote speeches, expert panel discussions, and interactive sessions, we will deepen discussions centered around the following themes.
