Case Study on the Introduction of Donaldson Process Filters at a Craft Beer Brewery (Overview)

At the brewery in Kochi Prefecture, they were considering not only serving beer at the restaurant adjacent to the factory but also offering it in cans with a longer shelf life and allowing for room temperature distribution. In addition to the clarification process, a sterilization process was also necessary, but they were exploring non-thermal methods to avoid compromising flavor. By using filters for the removal of residual yeast and bacteria, we provide microbial stabilization that eliminates the need for heat treatment. Donaldson's process cartridge filters are available for beer filtration and low-temperature stabilization. *Low-temperature stabilization: Instead of low-temperature pasteurization, sterilizing filtration is performed to remove microorganisms that cause spoilage.* We offer a range of sizes with flow capacities from small flows up to approximately 2400 Ltr/H.
