Column: Are Seminars Now Entertainment?
I have been writing my daily thoughts. A little while ago, I was a speaker at a web-based seminar. During that time, there was a bit of trouble, and as a result, I was told by the person in charge at the company organizing the seminar that "there were complaints from participants." However, recently I found out that this was a dubious claim. I also learned that popular seminar speakers often cut and paste information from the internet, operating under the so-called "first come, first served" mentality. Furthermore, I became aware of seminars organized by public institutions. These are run by individuals who have been planning training programs in companies for many years, and I found out that the content is substantial and the tuition fees are very affordable.
