I have been writing my daily thoughts. I believe it was during my university days. My piano teacher suddenly introduced a new practice method. It involved playing each finger slowly with a very soft sound and then completely relaxing the pressure the moment the key was struck. It was more about pressing the keys than actually playing, and this practice method went on endlessly. In any case, it was quite depressing. The most troubling part was that after starting this boring practice, I had no idea what had changed. I felt as if I had been thrown into a completely dark wilderness. Later, I stopped going to piano lessons as I needed to focus on my studies in graduate school. There was even a period when I didn’t touch the piano at all, but about ten years ago, I started playing again and suddenly thought: indeed, when you relax, the sound resonates. This is a story about an attempt to facilitate the decomposition of polyurethane by incorporating cleavable components into the molecular chain.

It was over 30 years ago, but I received a music tape from the driver of a car I rode in while in China. Additionally, I obtained a piano score of Chinese music separately.
