Haze (clarity) and gloss at three angles (20°, 60°, 85°) can be measured. The haze measurement values can be used as an endpoint for pigment dispersion, among other applications.

A new colorimeter capable of measuring color and glossiness with six angles. It enables quantitative measurement of brightness flop (metallic, aluminum, metallic-like) and color flop due to color changes (pearl mica), which could not be measured with single-angle colorimeters. Additionally, it achieves particle measurement of glossy materials that can only be done with the BYK-mac i.
