0.5mm pitch floating connector "DY Series"

The "DY series" features a 0.5mm pitch and a narrow pitch while ensuring a floating amount of ±0.5mm in the XY direction. Its compact size and large displacement contribute to the miniaturization of equipment. The effective mating length is secured at 1.25mm, making it a user-friendly product that boasts stable contact. Additionally, it offers the option to choose whether or not to include positioning bosses, as well as features that ensure a suction surface during automatic mounting. The floating side connector is composed of two parts: the contact section (movable part) and the soldering section (fixed side), which are connected by contacts. When the contact section moves, a load is applied to the soldering section; however, by attaching fixing brackets to both ends of the insulator, the structure is designed to reduce this load. We have developed the 'DT Series' floating connector with a 0.5mm pitch that supports high-speed transmission, featuring a stack height of 25mm. It ensures a high floating amount of ±1.0mm in the XY direction, enabling high-speed serial transmission equivalent to 8Gbps.
