[RFID Information Topic July Issue] Regarding the Revision of ARIB Standards Related to RFID Readers
"Revision of ARIB Standard Specifications"
- High-output (1W) type readers can now be used in land mobile stations. This is expected to expand their applications in vehicles and other uses.
★ Benefits of the Revision
The restrictions on the mobility of high-output passive electronic tag systems will be relaxed, allowing for expanded applications and usage locations, including mobile use (in vehicles, portable), use at events and exhibitions, and on roads and railways.
★ Overview of the Revision
To allow the high-output passive electronic tag system, which is institutionalized as a campus radio station, to be used outside the campus, new land mobile stations (licensed and registered stations) will be established under the same technical standards.
*For more details, please check the ARIB website.
★ We have developed an RFID reader (1W output, vehicle-compatible) that is ideal for land mobile stations.
