Also for edge computing! Memory and storage capacity doubled, new release of Armadillo-X1.

Atmark Techno Co., Ltd. will add a new lineup to the "Armadillo-X1" series of Linux-compatible embedded CPU boards, doubling the memory and storage capacity.
This time, Atmark Techno has added a new Armadillo-X1 to the lineup, anticipating scenarios where IoT functions are integrated into devices, with both memory and storage capacities doubled compared to the previous models (equipped with RAM of 1GB or 512MB and eMMC of 4GB). By enhancing memory and storage, it becomes even easier to use for edge computing applications, such as running inference models created with AI and machine learning in the cloud on IoT devices.
The new Armadillo-X1 will be available through various Armadillo distributors starting December 16, 2019, in the following lineup. Detailed specifications will be published on the Armadillo website (https://armadillo.atmark-techno.com).
