"HERON" is a laser scanner that can obtain 3D data of the surroundings by walking through the area with a laser scanner mounted on the back. The operator can check the measurement status in real-time on a tablet device, eliminating the unnecessary task of returning to the site for re-measurement. Data processing is primarily automated through desktop software and exported to generic data used in subsequent processes.
