We have published a case study on "HTLV-1 Clonality Analysis."
Currently, the diagnosis of adult T-cell leukemia requires the detection of leukemogenesis (monoclonal proliferation) of HTLV-1 infected cells using the Southern blot method (HTLV-1 clonality analysis). However, this method has various issues, such as requiring a large amount of DNA (blood), involving a long and complex process, and having insufficient detection sensitivity.
The RAISING method is a technique that overcomes all these problems, providing highly sensitive and very reproducible data in HTLV-1 clonality analysis.
