[Key Lecture Content] From the perspective of resource security and the creation of new markets, the realization of a circular economy for EV batteries is anticipated. However, in our country, there are still numerous challenges, and the majority of EV batteries are flowing overseas along with used EVs. In recent years, protectionist policies have been promoted in various countries, such as the U.S. tariff policies and China's rare earth export regulations, and there are concerns that if our country delays its response, the outflow will accelerate further. In light of this situation, we will analyze the impact of geopolitical risks on the formation of a circular economy domestically, overview what initiatives the government, local governments, and private companies have been advancing in the country, and propose measures deemed necessary to further accelerate the formation of a circular economy. We look forward to the participation of individuals from a wide range of industries who may be involved as suppliers or users in the circular economy of EV batteries.
