Our company utilizes polyamic acid generated from polyimide film that becomes unnecessary during polyimide film processing, through a unique chemical treatment, to create an "NMP completely free aqueous solution." This product forms a polyimide resin coating with an imidization rate of over 90% after being applied to a substrate and dried and cured. We are pleased to introduce a new grade of water-based polyimide varnish with improved flexibility. However, the current mainstream products are "NMP solution" or "a mixed solution of NMP and water." *NMP = N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone In recent years, "NMP" has raised concerns about its "toxicity," and it has been listed as a restricted substance under the "REACH regulations" in Europe, and it is expected to have an impact in Japan as well.
