Our water-based polyimide varnish utilizes polyamic acid generated by regenerating unnecessary polyimide film during the processing of polyimide film through a unique chemical treatment, making it a "NMP completely free water-based polyimide varnish." This product can bond polyimide films and copper foils just like general-purpose polyimide varnishes. It is also applicable to uses that could not be processed due to the influence of "NMP" solvents. This product, when applied to a substrate and dried and cured, forms a polyimide resin coating with an imidization rate of over 90%. We are pleased to introduce a new grade of water-based polyimide varnish with improved flexibility. Our water-based polyimide varnish is an "NMP completely free aqueous solution" that utilizes polyamic acid generated by recycling polyimide film that becomes unnecessary during the manufacturing of polyimide films through our unique chemical treatment.

The "polyimide varnish," which is commonly used in the industrial chemicals field, primarily consists of "NMP solution of polyamic acid," a precursor of polyimide resin, or "thermoplastic polyimide NMP solution." However, this developed product is an NMP completely free, water-based polyimide varnish that utilizes polyamic acid generated by chemically processing polyimide film. (Note: NMP: N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone) After being applied to a substrate, this developed product forms a polyimide resin coating with an imidization rate of over 90% upon drying and curing. Conventional polyamic acid-based polyimide varnishes have very high viscosity, making them difficult to handle and requiring refrigeration due to low storage stability.
