Currently, while the LED conversion of streetlights is progressing, nighttime control is limited to turning them on and off. If street lighting could be easily controlled, it could contribute not only to energy savings but also to creating a comfortable lighting environment in urban areas at night. If this control device could incorporate sensors and manage collected information in the cloud, it could lead to the advancement of new applications. AirGlow is a unique product that builds a large-scale wireless sensor mesh to meet these expectations. AirGlow is a product that applies LumenRadio's Mira wireless mesh technology, with a maximum communication distance of 1500 meters between nodes (actual installation is done at 1/10 of this distance), and each node connects in a mesh topology. The RTCA/DO-254 guidance recommends that applicants define and implement HDL coding standards. This work begins with a planning process that includes the definition of the standard, how it will be implemented, and, if the process is automated, the evaluation methods for tools or results. A key issue is that the guidance does not have clearly defined formal standards, leading to questions about how to conduct a detailed review of HDL code.
