The biggest feature of the HEATWELL tubular cartridge heater lies in the way the heating wire is loaded. Unlike conventional products that have a linear arrangement, it has a structure where the heating wire is coiled and tightly filled within MgO insulation. As a result, it can achieve a large capacity in a short dimension, making it perform exceptionally well in situations where installation space is limited. Additionally, there are two types of tubular cartridge heaters: the RP type, which contains only the heating element, and the RPT type, which incorporates a thermocouple.

The HEATWELL tubular cartridge heater is a flexible, thin-diameter heater that can be safely used at high temperatures (750°C) with an outer diameter of 3 or 4. It is utilized in various applications, such as small air heaters and sealing rolls for packaging machines, but its primary use is for heating injection nozzles and high-temperature branch piping in plastic factories. Additionally, it can be used for heating exhaust gas analysis equipment and for preventing freezing in pumps and valves in cold environments.
