basic information
Silicone rubber heaters are very thin, flexible surface heaters with a thickness ranging from 0.8mm to 1.6mm. The insulation sheets are made of silicone rubber sheets that have excellent heat resistance and durability. The two insulation sheets are reinforced with mesh fiberglass, providing sufficient mechanical strength. While conventional surface heaters typically use carbon-based resistors, these heaters utilize nickel alloy resistors, ensuring that there is no change in resistance value over time and providing stable output (W) over long periods. Additionally, the shape can be freely designed by drilling holes or partially cutting out sections, allowing for adaptation to complex heating surfaces. The durability is extremely high, with a continuous usage life of 7,000 hours at 250°C (the heater operating temperature) and the ability to be used semi-permanently below 210°C. The heating pattern can be uniformly distributed across the entire surface or can provide localized variations in heat intensity, allowing for heating without hot spots and without altering the composition of chemicals.
