Frame processing is particularly optimal as a pre-treatment for plastic surfaces, enabling printing, painting, laminating, and bonding. It destroys molecular bonds on the plastic surface through the heat of frame plasma irradiation and embeds some of the frame's oxygen into the molecular bonds. This results in the generation of polar groups on the plastic surface, allowing for bonding with paints, inks, and primers.
