**Course Objectives and Aims** This seminar will provide an overview of the facility audit methods and risk countermeasures related to environmental and health and safety international standards (de facto standards) that Western companies implement to reduce overseas risks. We will explain, using concrete examples, the audits conducted by U.S. companies in an easily understandable manner. Information useful for auditing overseas contractors and suppliers of components will be provided. Finally, we will discuss the corporate risks associated with the end-of-life of solar cell products sold overseas, using the United States as an example, focusing on the corporate risks of non-compliance with chemical substance regulations used in materials and the extended producer responsibility (EPR) risks in the disposal and recycling of used solar cells. **Keywords** 1.
