basic information
[Overall Lecture Overview] This lecture will provide detailed explanations from each speaker on two important points that determine the light extraction efficiency and reliability of organic EL (OLED). The light extraction technology utilizing light scattering and refraction effects to enhance the light extraction efficiency of OLEDs. The current status of degradation mechanisms and high-efficiency technologies from the perspective of lighting devices. Additionally, the latest sealing technologies, including various sealing techniques and the required characteristics of sealing materials. Furthermore, evaluations after sealing, such as barrier evaluations of film materials and edge seal materials, will be discussed. Finally, there will be a discussion on efforts involving polymer materials, making this a comprehensive course to understand the latest technologies in organic EL, presented by a total of five speakers.
