Lock-N-Stitch (LNS Method) Metal Crack Repair Without Fire
Alternative welding technology LNS method (Lock-N-Stitch) and a permanent female thread repair material 'Full-Torque' completely solve the problem of threaded holes.
The LNS method eliminates thermal distortion and secondary cutting, making machining unnecessary, which allows for reduced construction time and cost savings.
■□■ A completely new method for repairing metal cracks that is not welding ■□■ ● Cracks have occurred in your important equipment. "Is it safe to weld? I don't want to weld... I'm anxious." "Let's try grinding the crack first!... No good." "What about a stop hole?... No good." After consideration, welding is implemented... It broke again! Welding is the only option to connect it! Just needs to last for a while! The LOCK-N-STITCH 'LNS' method, which is not welding, uses special screws and reinforcement locks, employing mechanical stitching metal joining technology that prevents thermal distortion and secondary cracking, eliminates the need for machining, and allows for easy on-site construction, enabling a completely new crack repair that shortens construction time and reduces costs. Additionally, it allows for permanent repairs rather than temporary fixes, extending the life of the equipment. With the LNS method, we can meet your expectations! There are things that can only be done because it is a mechanical joining method that does not use heat. It is compatible with all types of metals.

basic information
The LOCK-N-STITCH 'LNS' method's special screw, CASTMASTER (C series pin), is not a welding technique and features a unique screw thread shape known as a "spiral hook," which has a different angle compared to conventional screws. It pulls the crack areas together, ensuring a permanent fastening. Additionally, the reinforcement LOCK is used to increase strength across the crack, and all LNS Locks function to pull the crack areas together, possessing the capability to prevent crack propagation. The permanent female thread repair material 'Full-Torque' utilizes a patented upward-facing screw thread structure to draw in the surrounding base material, reinforcing it. Furthermore, the force that draws in the surrounding base material through product insertion allows for construction up to the corner edges. Unlike temporary repairs typical of conventional products, it enables permanent repairs, extending the lifespan of the equipment. Sizes range from φ6 to φ64, with custom sizes and pitches available upon order. Larger sizes can also be installed on-site. Perfectly resolves worn or damaged bolt holes!

Applications/Examples of results
Full-Torque inserts have many issues with existing methods, especially when bolt holes in aluminum or cast products are damaged. Currently, ordinary Heli-Coil type products available on the market cannot apply full torque, which makes it impossible to maintain the fastening strength of existing bolts and does not resolve leakage problems. The Full-Torque inserts manufactured by LNSJAPAN can be used regardless of temperature, pressure, or vibration, and perfectly solve leakage issues caused by damaged bolt holes. Such performance has already been certified in the American market, and these inserts have been supplied to global engine manufacturers like Caterpillar and Cummins, and are also applied in engine repairs for Ford. Additionally, they have been used by tire manufacturers such as Cooper Tire and Nexen Tire, contributing to the longevity of equipment and achieving cost reductions. Furthermore, they have been applied in companies like POSCO and in steel manufacturing and marine engines, receiving great acclaim and continuously expanding their application fields. Full-Torque inserts solve all problems and concerns related to bolt holes.

FFT,FFB,FST,FSB | The FFT type is commonly used and is an easy-to-install insert. The FFB type is generally applicable to head bolt holes and bearing bolt holes in gas and diesel engines. The FST type adds additional force around the hole to withstand lateral loads on the shoulder. The FSB type requires that the bolt holes connected to the water jacket maintain a seal to prevent leakage of coolant and lubricating oil. |

Company information
<We provide nationwide support> LNS JAPAN Co., Ltd. is an engineering company that performs maintenance and repairs on cracks and damages in equipment and metal structures across various industries (such as petroleum, chemicals, power generation facilities, ships, heavy equipment, automobiles, steelmaking, etc.) using the METAL STITCHING method. Currently, most of the critical equipment used across industries is facing a tough situation regarding new capital investment due to the global economic downturn. In Japan's industries, welding technology, which is widely used for metal repairs, has recently led to significant damage to many pieces of equipment and critical assets due to a shortage of skilled craftsmen and inexperienced welding repairs, with many cases worsening. Our company is the only certified company in Japan and is committed to continuous technological development in collaboration with our parent company, LOCK-N-STITCH INC, which continues to leap and grow as a global enterprise. We promise to ensure that our repairs do not cause deformation or secondary cracks due to heat, which have been issues with traditional welding repairs, while also shortening construction periods and reducing costs, thereby extending the life of equipment and ensuring high quality and prompt maintenance. For repairs where fire is not desired or where time is limited, please contact LNS JAPAN.
