★What determines the strength and impact resistance of plastics?! ★Covering the relationships and analysis methods of molecular weight, orientation, crystallinity, viscoelasticity, interfaces, and adhesion!!
**Lecture Summary** In recent years, the functions and performance required of polymer materials have become multifunctional and advanced due to considerations of productivity and the environment. To achieve these requirements, the development of polymer composite technology has been actively pursued. This presentation will introduce analyses of the correlation between morphology and physical properties, the mechanisms of mechanical property manifestation, and the mechanisms of degradation, focusing on the mechanical characteristics of polymer composite materials. Additionally, it will present case studies analyzing the mechanisms behind the high impact properties of PK/PA polymer alloys, which have been clarified in our company recently, using techniques such as TEM, Raman, FT-IR, SAXS, and solid-state high-resolution NMR.
