Synthetic mica powder is a high-purity fluorophlogopite (KMg3(AISi3O10)F2) that has been dry or wet ground. It is a pure white quartz powder with high heat resistance (up to 1,100°C) and excellent acid and alkali resistance. Its expansion rate when heated is low, and its melting point is 1,357±5°C.
