[Transport Test] We will conduct a series of packaging tests in accordance with the test sequence specified in ISTA 1G.
Overview of the ISTA 1G Test: - It applies to individually packaged products weighing 150 lb (68 kg) or less. - This test is not a simulation of the transportation environment. - Users can utilize the ISTA 1G test as a consistent screening test. - The items involve changing the fixed displacement vibration from the 1A test to random vibration, consisting of random vibration and shock. - In random vibration, excitation is applied in four directions for a total of 60 minutes under specified conditions. - The overall Grms for random vibration is 1.15, with a maximum amplitude of 22.45 mm p-p. - For shock, a drop of 760 mm is applied for total weights of 0 to 10 kg. A drop of 200 mm is applied for total weights of 45 to 68 kg. For total weights over 68 kg, ISTA 1H is applied. - If inclined shock or horizontal shock is selected, a velocity change of 3.9 m/s is applied in four directions for total weights of 0 to 10 kg, and a velocity change of 2.0 m/s for total weights of 45 to 68 kg. - After conducting random vibration and shock continuously, the box is opened to check for damage. - The criteria for pass/fail judgment after the test are to be defined before the test.

basic information
【ISTA 1G】【Test Sequence】 1. Vibration Test (Random Vibration Test) 2. Drop Test ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) is one of the international standards widely adopted in various countries for the evaluation testing standards of packaged goods, similar to ISO and ASTM. In recent years, its presence has particularly increased in Southeast Asia and China, and more companies are adopting ISTA testing standards as their internal standards. Additionally, the international standard for sterilization packaging in medical devices, ISO11607 (JIS T8041), recommends ISTA testing as one of the options for packaging performance evaluation. Our testing lab was accredited by ISTA in December 2010 and conducts packaging tests tailored to customer requirements in accordance with the testing methods specified by ISTA. ▼ For more details, please download the PDF document (recommended). ▼ For urgent inquiries, please contact us using the 'Contact Us' link below.
