The 4948 type surface microphone is a robust and stable measurement microphone designed for applications such as in-flight testing and wind tunnel testing, specifically for measuring on the surface of aircraft. By making the entire microphone housing and diaphragm-backplate structure out of titanium, it boasts excellent corrosion resistance.
