The 4952 and 4952-A outdoor microphones are suitable for long-term unattended use outdoors. The exterior components of the 4952 and 4952-A outdoor microphones are made of a highly corrosion-resistant polymer material. Due to the use of this polymer material and the excellent long-term stability of the microphone, it can operate unattended outdoors for at least one year without significant changes in sensitivity. The frequency characteristics are controlled by linearization technology and meet the requirements of IEC 61672 Class 1. The upper windscreen and bird spike can be removed in seconds, allowing for easy acoustic calibration of the microphone.
