Remote monitoring capable 7×1G SFP / 1×10G SFP+ MUXponder
The FRM220-TM-10GMux is a 10G MUX ponder that converts 7× 1GE to 10G. This MUX ponder is based on TDM technology, transferring seven individual gigabit Ethernet data streams to a 10 Gbps SFP+ based trunk port. This achieves significant cost savings and excellent fiber efficiency compared to optical multiplexing using CWDM. The FRM220-TM-10GMux features a 7x 1GE SFP-based access interface that can accommodate various types of SFPs. The module supports various models, including multimode, single-mode, and 1Gbps copper SFPs. The trunk port is SFP+ 10Gbps, allowing flexible connection options for direct connections between Mux ponders within a WDM system or between two devices. Additionally, the chassis FRM220-CH20 can accommodate up to 10 line cards, while the CH08 can accommodate up to 4 line cards.
