The global brand of surfacing materials, Kolmono.
For requests regarding sample evaluations and automation proposals, please feel free to download the catalog and contact us! Colmonoy is an alloy based on nickel, chromium, and boron, also known as a self-fusing alloy. The characteristics of Colmonoy include the densification of the surface through fusing and the generation of very hard boride crystals, which disperse on the surface to achieve high density, high strength, and high corrosion resistance with a high level of quality. At Shinwa, we offer a wide range of powders and thermal spray rods, including Colmonoy 69SM, which corresponds to JIS Class 4 materials, for use in Colmonoy thermal spraying. We also provide custom rods and equivalent products from other companies.

Colmonoï Thermal Spray and Build-Up Auxiliary Items We also offer a wide range of auxiliary materials, including commonly used fluxes such as Green Stop Off for thermal spraying and build-up.
Line up(4)
Model number | overview |
---|---|
Colmonoy 4, 5, 6 (Crushed Powder) | A representative Colmonoy thermal spray powder. By making it into a crushed powder, it has good thermal conductivity and can produce a thick thermal spray coating with a small amount of gas. Additionally, it results in a thermal spray coating with fewer pores, leading to high strength. Rods and wires are also available. |
Colmonoy 42, 52, 62 (Atomized Powder) | An atomized version of Colmonoy 4, 5, 6. It can also be used with thermal spray equipment from other manufacturers. |
Colmonoy 69SM | A powder that complies with JIS Class 4. It is used in a wide range of applications, such as boiler tubes. |
Colmonoy 88 | By adding W as an alloy, it is more resistant to powder wear compared to WC mixed powders, allowing for even longer service life. Rods and wires are also available. |
