Temposonics sensors are highly durable absolute linear scales that use magnetostrictive technology, designed to withstand harsh environments such as shock, vibration, and temperature. They offer high precision (0.5μm), robustness (vibration resistance of 30G, waterproof rating of IP68/69K, rod pressure resistance of 80MPa, CE compliance), and stroke lengths ranging from 25mm to 20m, with a variety of interfaces available. They are suitable for a wide range of applications, including waterproofing, long-length measurements, simultaneous multi-position measurements, and explosion-proof compliance for Zone 1 and Zone 2. The R series, which allows for simultaneous multi-position measurements, can be used to adjust the slitter positions of films, paper, and metal foils, controlling multiple slitter positions with a single sensor. Since the movable part that measures position consists only of a magnet, there is no need for power or signal cables in the movable part.
