You can easily measure up to 14 water quality parameters using a smartphone.
The portable multi-parameter water quality sensor "SmarTroll" is a compact multi-parameter water quality sensor that allows for easy measurement of up to 14 water quality parameters using devices such as iPhone and iPod touch. It comes standard with high-precision sensors, including a fluorescent dissolved oxygen (RDO) sensor compliant with the US EPA, calibrated to NIST traceable standards. The salinity correction necessary for measuring dissolved oxygen in seawater samples is reflected in real-time based on data from the conductivity sensor. By combining your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad with the dedicated app "iSitu," your smartphone quickly transforms into a display terminal. The sensor enhances usability through wireless communication via Bluetooth. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

basic information
【Features】 ○ Measurement of up to 14 parameters → Conductivity (with/without temperature compensation, salinity, total dissolved solids, resistance, specific gravity) → Fluorescent dissolved oxygen - RDO → pH → ORP → Water quality/ambient temperature → Water level/water pressure (absolute pressure) → Atmospheric pressure ○ High-precision sensors are standard ○ Smartphone can be used as a display device ○ Simple, stable, and robust → Maintenance for the fluorescent dissolved oxygen (RDO) requires only annual sensor cap replacement and calibration → Stability has dramatically improved compared to diaphragm-type sensors → Calibration of conductivity, pH/ORP, and dissolved oxygen sensors can be done simultaneously using "Quick Cal calibration solution" → Can be installed in seawater ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

The company founded by British trader Albert Richard Brown (A.R. Brown) in Yokohama is its origin. A.R. Brown brought the training ship "Meiji Maru," which is currently displayed at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, from Britain during the Meiji era and participated in the establishment of the predecessor of the university, the Merchant Marine University, helping to build the Japanese Navy. He also worked hard to promote lighthouses in Japan and served as the first manager of Nippon Yusen. A.R. Brown was also the first to sell a television to the Emperor. After going through history, it has now become a purely domestic company, but it has developed into a scientific and technological trading company that carries on A.R. Brown's spirit, selling new and unique quality products through its specialized salespeople. With the management philosophy of "introducing cutting-edge technology products with an adventurous spirit and creating value," the company not only sells but also listens to customer needs, striving to provide truly useful products for customers. The sales bases are located in Tokyo (head office and Ginza), Osaka, and Nagoya. Domestic affiliated company: Brown Technologies Co., Ltd.
