1. It is possible to easily measure thermal conductivity while applying pressure. Measurement of materials whose thickness changes under pressure can only be performed with this device. Pressure is applied to the sample using an air cylinder. By varying the air pressure supplied to the cylinder, the properties of the material can be measured. This significantly expands the range of materials that can be measured. The pressure range is 0.1 to 1.0 MPa (Pascal) (pressure range when the sample shape is φ30mm). 2. The thickness of the sample can be measured while under pressure. The thickness sensor allows for real-time measurement of the sample's thickness. 3. After setting the sample, the thermal conductivity is measured automatically. Using dedicated software, the temperature distribution and the thickness of the sample are automatically measured to determine the thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivity is calculated based on the temperature distribution of the upper and lower thermal conduction rods and the thickness of the sample using the temperature gradient method. The temperature distribution is measured by thermocouples (10 in equal intervals) attached to the upper and lower thermal conduction rods. 4. The minimum thickness that can be measured is 0.05mm.
