Two types of cells, 5mL and 10mL, can be used, and testing is possible with a minimum solvent volume of 3mL. A maximum of 12 samples can be set. The evaporation prevention cover ensures that even when using organic solvents, it does not affect the analysis results of UV and LC. The built-in syringe pump allows for highly reproducible sampling and automatic solvent exchange. Up to four types of solvents can be used in a single test, and continuous operation for up to 28 days is possible. The main unit is controlled by a PC, and the software complies with 21CFR Part11. One PC can individually control up to four 400-DS units.

The 400-DS dissolution tester is set based on drug release testing from medical devices.
