The product is heat exchanged through a heat exchange plate. Unlike conventional cooling and drying equipment, hot and cold air do not come into contact with the product. The manufacturer is Solex Thermal Science Inc. from Canada. (Since 2008, Bulk Flow has changed its name to Solex.) The product is continuously fed into the upper hopper. Heat exchange plates are laid out inside the device, and the product descends by its own weight through the gaps. Once the product fills the heat exchange section, discharge to the next process begins by opening the valve at the discharge section. The level sensor in the upper hopper detects the product level and controls the discharge valve to maintain a constant level. Note: The product must be in free flow.
