This is a flexible printed circuit board (FPC) designed with a shielding structure for high-speed transmission of high-frequency signals and noise countermeasures. As circuits become faster, issues such as noise between signal lines become significant problems, necessitating some form of shielding treatment. In the case of flexible printed circuit boards (FPCs), silver paste is printed as a shielding layer or shielding films are used to achieve shielding functionality while maintaining flexibility. The shielding films come in various specifications, including silver, and are thin, offering excellent flexibility, bendability, and foldability. Shielding treatment is possible for single-sided flexible printed circuit boards (single-sided FPC), double-sided flexible printed circuit boards (double-sided FPC), and multilayer flexible circuit boards (multilayer FPC), among others.
