O-ring JASO F404 standard (JASO number / JASO series)
Sakura Seal O-Ring JASO F404 Standard
The O-ring cherry seal molds O-rings of various sizes according to the JASO F404 standard and other specifications using a wide variety of materials.
The JASO F404 standard, established by the Society of Automotive Engineers, is a widely used size series for automotive applications, including for dynamic, cylindrical surface fixed, and flat surface fixed seals. Sakura Seal Co., Ltd. supports the appropriate selection of O-rings in terms of both size and material, offering a variety of high-performance materials, including the "Floro Power Series" featuring Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) at its peak, as well as the "Floro Up Series," characterized by low adhesion, low friction, low sticking, and low outgassing, in addition to general-purpose materials based on JIS standards.

basic information
The JASO F404 standard is one of the O-ring dimension standards established by the Japan Automobile Technicians Association. It is utilized primarily in the Japanese automotive industry for O-ring sizes used in automobiles (both four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles). Additionally, some of the JASO F404 standards can be converted to the P standard according to JIS standards (JIS B2401).
